About Guillermo Ignacio Acosta Osio:
Dr. Guillermo Ignacio Acosta Osio Gynecologist and Obstetrician in Barranquilla obtained his title from the Hospital of Gynecology and Obstetrics No 2 (HGO2) of the National Medical Center of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). During his training, she deepened his knowledge of obstetric care, gynecological surgeries and the different techniques to improve female intimate aesthetics.
He returned to Barranquilla, where, motivated to implement the innovative techniques of Gynecological Surgery and Intimate Genital Aesthetics, he entered as a teacher and postgraduate researcher at the Hospital and the Metropolitan University, publishing more than 40 scientific papers in national and international journals, some of them distinguished with national awards.
Thus, he was developing the idea of ??a center specialized in the integral beauty of women, for which he travels to Argentina to carry out complementary training in Liposculpture with world-renowned plastic and aesthetic surgeons and later he takes courses and diplomas in Colombia.
He did the Video Laparoscopy training at Profamilia in 1992, promoter of the Water Birth since 1994, managing to transmit one live on the Internet on November 1, 1998. Postgraduate in Cosmetic Surgery in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the International Union of Lipoplasty in 2001. Master's Degree in University Management from the Universidad de los Andes and Alternative Medicine Studies at the National University of Colombia; Graduated in Body and Facial Aesthetics and linked to teaching as Postgraduate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics and Professor of Aesthetic Medicine.
In 2011 the new office opens its doors: GIAO aesthetics & spa, a place where the concepts of Gynecology and Obstetrics are integrated with Intimate Feminine Surgery and Comprehensive Aesthetic Beauty for Women.
His multiple research works and published books, as well as his great dexterity and spectacular evolution and satisfaction of his patients both in gynecological surgeries, vaginal delivery care or cesarean sections, female intimate cosmetic surgeries and liposculpture, have led Dr. Guillermo Ignacio Acosta Osio to obtain great recognition in our environment and at the national and international level.
