Dental radiology professionals, known as dental radiologists or dental radiologic technologists, use imaging techniques such as intraoral and extraoral x-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, and panoramic x-rays to visualize dental structures, jaw bones, and soft tissues of the mouth and face.
