This specialist has knowledge in food science, human physiology, biochemistry, and other related fields, allowing him or her to assess individual nutritional needs and design personalized meal plans to promote health and prevent disease. Nutritionists work with people of all ages and health conditions, helping them set health goals, educating them about healthy eating habits, and providing guidance and support to adopt lifestyle changes that improve nutrition and overall well-being. It is advisable to see a nutritionist if you experience concerns related to food and nutrition, such as weight problems, eating disorders, medical conditions that require special dietary management, or simply if you are looking to improve your diet and adopt healthy habits.
