Immunologist
An immunologist is a doctor who specializes in the study of the immune system and the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to it. This specialist focuses on understanding how the immune system protects the body against infections and diseases, as well as identifying and treating disorders in which the immune system does not function properly, such as allergies, autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiencies, and immune system disorders. Immunologists use a variety of diagnostic techniques and tests, such as blood tests, skin tests, and clinical evaluations, to evaluate immune system function and determine the best treatment approach for each patient. It is advisable to see an immunologist if you are experiencing persistent symptoms of allergies, recurrent infections, chronic fatigue, or other immune-related problems, to receive a complete evaluation and appropriate treatment that addresses each patient's specific needs.
