Dr. Melquicedeth Maestre, médico cirujano egresado de la Universidad Libre Seccional Atlántico. Empezó su carrera profesional hace dos décadas con un valor fundamental como es el de la responsabilidad. Inicia sus primeras experiencias en el mundo quirúrgico como médico rural en áreas apartadas de Colombia. Luego de estar seguro de su vocación, decide viajar al exterior para convertirse en especialista en cirugía plástica, estética y reconstructiva en la ciudad de Buenos Aires (Argentina). Comenzó su preparación como médico concurrente durante 3 años en el servicio de Cirugía General del Hospital Mariano y Luciano de la Vega de la Municipalidad de Moreno. Posteriormente, es seleccionado por concurso en el Hospital de Trauma Dr. Federico Abete, municipalidad de Malvinas Argentinas, el cual tiene convenio con la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). Aquí realiza su especialidad teórico-práctica durante 3 años como Residente en Cirugía Plástica. Una vez terminado sus estudios regresó a su ciudad natal Barranquilla, con su respectiva homologación de título en tierra colombiana empieza a ejercer su carrera de especialista con empeño, entrega y responsabilidad, atributos que lo caracterizan.

Dr. Melquicedeth Maestre, medical surgeon graduated from the Universidad Libre. He began his professional career two decades ago with a fundamental value such as responsibility. He starts his first experiences in the surgical world as a rural doctor in remote areas of Colombia, after being sure of his vocation he decides to travel abroad to become a specialist in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in the city of Buenos Aires (Argentina), starting his training as a concurrent doctor for 3 years in the General Surgery service of the Hospital Mariano and Luciano de la Vega of the Municipality of Moreno. Subsequently, he is selected by competition in the Dr. Federico Abete Trauma Hospital, municipality of Malvinas Argentinas, which has an agreement with the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Here he realizes his theoretical-practical specialty for 3 years as Resident in Plastic Surgery. Once he has finished his studies, he returns to his hometown of Barranquilla, with his respective homologation of title in Colombian land. He begins to practice his career as a specialist with commitment, dedication, and responsibility attributes that characterize him.
