Complete Dentures

Complete dentures are removable appliances that replace all teeth in the upper arch, lower arch, or both when all natural teeth have been lost. They help restore chewing function, improve speech, and provide support for the lips and cheeks. They are custom-made to fit the shape of the mouth and may require periodic adjustments to maintain comfort and stability.

Which specialist provides complete dentures?

Dentists experienced in restorative dentistry and specialists in prosthodontics can design, fabricate, and fit complete dentures. The professional evaluates the gums, available bone, and shape of the mouth to achieve a proper fit.

When do I need complete dentures?

Complete dentures are recommended when all teeth in an arch are missing and the patient wants to restore oral function and smile appearance. Implant-supported dentures may also be an option for some patients, depending on their general health, available bone, and individual needs.
