I am Johana González Urrea, a speech-language pathologist in Medellín, specialized in audiology, with postgraduate training from the Colombian School of Rehabilitation and extensive experience in the comprehensive management of communication, language, and hearing disorders.
I have more than 20 years of professional experience, including 12 years working in hospital settings, where I have practiced under interdisciplinary clinical guidelines, applying a preventive, corrective, and evidence-based approach focused on improving my patients’ quality of life.
My areas of expertise include early stimulation, feeding and swallowing disorders, atypical swallowing, language and communication disorders, speech sound disorders, and auditory discrimination. I also provide breastfeeding counseling and comprehensive audiological services.
