Prostate cancer screening

At Cerid we have transrectal ultrasound, a procedure in which a probe that emits high-energy sound waves is inserted into the rectum. The sound waves bounce off internal tissues or organs and produce echoes. Transrectal ultrasound is used to check for abnormalities in the rectum and nearby structures, including the prostate.
