Oral and written language: This is understood as the ability of the human being to understand what he hears or reads and how he uses words to communicate what he thinks.
The voice: Refers to the sounds that are produced when air enters the lungs and is expelled, to then pass through the vocal folds which generate a vibration.
Speech: It is the articulation of sounds and the way in which they are put together to form words.
Hearing: It is the ability of the person to perceive the sounds of the environment and recognize the sounds of language.
Pharyngeal oral function: Refers to the functions related to chewing and swallowing food that a person consumes from birth to adulthood.
